Many people in the world have to walk miles carrying heavy containers each day just to have water for their home. This water is sometimes unclean or unsafe to drink. In 2015, it was reported that 1.8 billion people continue to use an unsafe drinking water source which may be contaminated by feces. Water that is unclean can create multiple health problems including cholera or typhoid.
What separates our foundation from other similar groups is that we use the skills and expertise of our every day careers to coordinate drilling wells and installing pumps in the international communities. We also understand that the physical need for clean water is second to the most important spiritual need we all have for Jesus.
Our first official project will be in Salama, Kenya. It will be in Makueni County which is almost two hours from the well drilled in Feb. 2017. We have tentative plans to drill in other countries such as Nicaragua, but we plan to focus on one location at a time. Once the well in Kenya is complete, we will move forward with a new location.
