In many countries like Kenya, Africa, men, women and even children must walk miles carrying water jugs or pulling carts to transport water to their homes. The fortunate ones have mopeds or donkeys to help them with the process but this often takes many hours and many miles. It is our hope that these men, women and children will not have to travel as far when they have a well in their own communities. A well offers them clean water which would keep them from developing deadly diseases that come from drinking stagnant, dirty water. Not only will it simply save them time, it could potential save their lives.
