Kenya, Africa
In many countries like Kenya, Africa, men, women and even children must walk miles carrying water jugs or pulling carts to transport water to their homes. The fortunate ones have mopeds or donkeys to help them with the process but this often takes many hours and many miles. It is our hope that these men, women and children will not have to travel as far when they have a well in their own communities. A well offers them clean water which would keep them from developing deadly diseases that come from drinking stagnant, dirty water. Not only will it simply save them time, it could potential save their lives.

In February 2017, Kevin Letchworth of N.W. Poole Well & Pump Co., Pastor Phil Brantley of Bethany Baptist Church and Robert Bonham traveled to Kenya to oversee the well that brought life to our foundation. The lady in the photo donated the land for the well. The three men arrived just after the well had been drilled and then met with a local company to coordinate the pump installation.
